Alberto Campbell-Staines is an amazing man. Born in Kingston, Jamaica he became an orphan at the age of 3 months old after suffering brain damage due to malnutrition. After spending his life peering through the barbed wire fence of the orphanage, he was found and adopted by an Australian couple (Julie-Anne and Paul Staines). Alberto was brought to Australia, which has now become his home. He has not let an intellectual impairment hold him back and has become an elite track athlete and an inspiration.

Alberto is in training to represent Australia at the INAS Global Games held next year in Brisbane and no doubt has his sights set on the Paralympics in Tokyo in 2020.

We are incredibly proud to be working with The Global Games Sports Company to showcase these incredible people and their talents. If you would like to find out more about the Global Games 2019 please visit their site www.inasglobalgames.org
